Review of The Spa at the Woods Resort (Killington, Vermont) March 25, 2009

53 Woods Lane, Killington, VT 05751

I visited The Spa at the Woods in the fall of ’04 while staying in a townhouse at The Woods Resort for a girls spa weekend.  The Woods Resort is located on the Killington Access Road, just a few miles from Killington’s main Snowshed lift.

The spa is located in a clubhouse within the resort.  Amenities include:

  • 75 pool indoor pool with lap area
  • Sauna
  • Eucalyptus steam room
  • Hot tub
  • 10 treatment rooms
  • Fitness center
  • Locker rooms
  • Tanning
  • Outdoor patio (seasonal)

If you are a guest at The Woods Resort, use of the facilities is complimentary.  The facilities are included with any spa treatment over $50 or for non-guests for $20 a day.  The treatment menu includes massages, facials, body treatments and manicures/pedicures.  A 50 minute Swedish Massage is $100.

The pool area is beautiful and relaxing before or after a treatment.  There are lounge chairs in front of a wall of windows that lead out to the seasonal patio.  Because we visited in the fall, the foliage was beautiful as we relaxed by the pool.

The spa facilities are modest and clean, but not luxurious.  If you are visiting the Killington area in any season, The Woods Resort is a beautiful and convenient place to stay featuring luxury 2 and 3 bedroom townhouses.   We loved our 3 bedroom townhouse with 3 1/2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, sauna, and master suite with 2 person whirlpool tub and walk in tiled shower.  The accommodations enhanced the overall spa experience.
