On Sunday August 2nd, Deerfield Spa in East Stroudsburg, PA celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the new day spa and boutique. The guests at the well attended event included a number of local dignitaries, including Pennsylvania State Representative John Siptroth and Suzanne McCool, Chairperson from the Monroe County Commissioners’ Office.
Guests were treated to spa cuisine hors d’oeuvre’s, tours of the new spa facilities including treatment rooms and lounges, and spa treatment samples.
Deerfield has been known as a destination spa for 28 years. The destination spa is open seasonally from April 1st to October 31st. The day spa and boutique will be open year round.
The facilities at Deerfield include:
- two state-of-the-art gyms
- a heated outdoor pool (seasonal)
- gazebo-enclosed hot tub (seasonal)
- three lounges
- outdoor sport court (seasonal)
- 6 spa treatment rooms, one of which can be configured for couples treatments
- an intimate dining room
- spa boutique.
Day spa packages such as a Full day of Beauty (4 hours) and a Half Day of Beauty (3 hours) include lunch in the dining room. These “daycation” packages also include access to all spa facilities, lectures and classes, making Deerfield the perfect getaway without committing to an overnight stay.
For those who prefer the full destination spa experience, Deerfield Spa can accommodate up to 33 overnight guests for stays of 2 nights or longer.
