I have fond memories of summer vacations with my family in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. So at the invitation to visit Deerfield Spa for a weekend, I pointed my car south, made the easy three-hour drive from home in Central New York to East Stroudsburg, PA, and hoped to rekindle some of those childhood memories.
